The Da Vinci Code...

Looks like the plan to thwart box office sale for The Da Vinci Code failed horribly...I think it is funny as hell. What they actually did was make it such a big deal that their plan actually back fired on them. There was also a group telling everyone to watch "Over The Hedge" and not "The Da Vinci Code" so that another movie would spank it in the box office sales. Well here is what happened:

-------------------------------------
The huge audience keen on unlocking the mystery of "The Da Vinci Code" didn't let critics talk them out of a trip to the cineplex this weekend. The film, which earned an estimated $77 million since opening Friday, bowed at #1 on the box-office top

Based on the bestselling book by Dan Brown, "The Da Vinci Code" also pulled in $224 million worldwide, making it the top earner of the year so far — with the second largest worldwide opening of all time behind "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith," according to The Associated Press.

Good luck on your next attack on the next fictional mystery that has something to do with religion.
